I was nervous when I saw that Snowing had posted a new song. I had convinced myself they were going to pull a Grown Ups, that their new release would be missing the energy that made Fuck Your Emotional Bullshit so good. When it first started it seems less noodly for sure. It reminds me of the Promise Ring with a really jangly up-beat guitar riff with John's signature strained voice singing over it. Than 30 seconds in it goes into a really straight forward shout along part that really captures the energy of this band. It's is probably one of my favorite parts of any Snowing song, which is real odd cause of how simple it is. The last 50 seconds brings a really open section with some chords strummed and a little melodic guitar riff played in the back while the drums pummel out a fairly standard pattern in this genre and John singing an undeniable hook. I'm glad Snowing didn't disappoint me and I'm totally stoked on their upcoming release.Snowing's Blog
